A youth working at a farmhouse located in Chorhata police station area of Rewa district has made a serious allegation of assault on Semaria MLA Abhay Mishra and his associates. The victim Abhishek Tiwari says that he was working at the MLA’s farmhouse for the last one year and when he demanded his salary after not getting it for the last three months, he was badly beaten up.
Abhishek alleged that when he asked for his salary, the MLA called him to his office where the MLA himself and his close associates attacked him. After this, he was kept hostage in the farmhouse. Getting a chance, he somehow escaped from there and reached the police station but the police did not register his complaint. After this incident, former MLA KP Tripathi and his supporters reached the police station and created a ruckus demanding action.
Former MLA and supporters created a ruckus
There was also a heated argument between the police and the former MLA. The situation reached such a point that the policemen had to pacify him with folded hands. As the pressure increased, the police registered a case against five people including Semaria MLA Abhay Mishra under sections of assault and started investigation.
MLA completely denied the allegations
In this case, MLA Abhay Mishra has completely denied the allegations against him. He called it a political conspiracy and said that his name is being deliberately dragged into the controversy. According to him, Abhishek used to come for work only occasionally and recently there was a dispute between the staff. Which he tried to resolve. The MLA says that he did not beat anyone.
It is worth noting that Abhishek Tiwari, who has filed this complaint, was the same person who had lodged a complaint in Civil Lines police station a few days ago accusing him of biting his finger with his teeth.
