In Gurugram’s Dundahaera village, a woman along with her lover and three others killed her husband and hid the body. The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Vikram, who was a resident of Nawada in Bihar.
The police have arrested a total of 5 accused in this case, including Vikram’s wife Soni Devi (35) and her alleged lover Ravindra (34). According to PTI, the murder took place on July 26, but the wife had filed a missing person’s report on July 28.
Daughter had seen the objectionable video
According to the police, Soni and Ravindra were in a relationship for about a year. One day their daughter saw an objectionable video in Ravindra’s phone and told her father. After this, the wife and her lover together hatched a conspiracy to kill Vikram. They searched for ways to kill and hide the body on the Internet and YouTube.
This is how the brutal crime was carried out
Soni Devi had filed a missing person’s report of her husband at Udyog Vihar police station on July 28. But on July 26, Ravindra and his two companions, Manish (19) and Fariyad (20), dragged Vikram into a car while he was returning home and strangled him to death with a rope.
The body was buried in Mohammadpur Jharsa village with the help of Ravindra’s uncle Santarpal (60). The body was dumped in a pre-dug pit, which Santarpal had dug at Ravindra’s behest.
Arrest and confession
During police interrogation, Ravindra confessed to the entire case. Following this, his two companions Manish and Fariyad were arrested and sent to 5-day police custody. Santarpal was also arrested on Saturday (August 2) and taken on 5-day remand on Sunday (August 3).
Soni Devi, on the other hand, has been sent to judicial custody. During interrogation, Soni admitted that she was in touch with Ravindra and kept talking to him on the phone throughout the incident.
