Mumbai Crime Branch has got a big success. In fact, the Anti Extortion Cell of Mumbai Crime Branch team has arrested 5 shooters in a big action. 4 pistols and 51 live cartridges have been recovered from the arrested shooters. According to information received from police sources, the arrested accused are said to be from Haryana. Mobile phones and SIM cards of 5 different companies have been found from these accused. The weapons recovered by the Crime Branch team are said to be worth Rs 87,900.
Haryana miscreants arrested in Mumbai
A case has been registered against the arrested accused under Arms Act and other sections at Kala Chowki Police Station in Mumbai. The arrested accused have been identified as Naresh Kumar, Ravi Angrez, Rahul Prithvi Singh, Anuj Kuldeep Kumar, Aditya Yogesh Kaushik. According to information received from the police, the accused were trying to sell illegal weapons near Cotton Green Railway Station in Mumbai. Meanwhile, Mumbai’s Anti Extortion Cell has arrested these accused.
Police engaged in investigation
The arrested accused were produced in the court, where they have been sent to police custody till August 8. At present, Mumbai Police is trying to find out what connection the arrested accused have with arms dealing and for whom they work. Let us tell you that earlier Mira Road Police had arrested 7 gangsters. 2 pistols and some weapons were found from them. In the initial investigation, all the accused were in contact with Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Police suspect that these accused may be from Lawrence Bishnoi gang, a thorough investigation is being done.
