The Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of Rajasthan Police has achieved a major success by arresting criminals before they could commit a crime. The team arrested 6 wanted criminals belonging to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang from Jaipur and Tonk and handed them over to the Punjab Police.
There was a plan to blast in Delhi-Gwalior
Additional Director General of Police (Crime) Dinesh MN said that these accused had planned to blast in Delhi and Gwalior around 15 August. Earlier, these accused had spread terror by blasting grenades outside a liquor shop in Navan city of Punjab on 7 July 2025. During this interrogation, it was revealed that the accused were in contact with handler Zeeshan Akhtar sitting in Canada. Zeeshan’s name has also come up in taking responsibility for the murder of Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai.
Zeeshan, along with Pakistani gangster Shahzad Bhatti, Manu Agwan and Gopi Navanshaharia, carries out criminal acts across the country. He lures young people with money and connects them to the gang. Gives instructions from Instagram and other online apps.
Arrested accused identified
The police have identified the arrested accused as Shivam alias Bittu Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh, Jitendra Chaudhary- Tonk, Rajasthan, Sanjay- Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, Sonu alias Kaliri Kapurthala, Punjab, Sonu Paswan- Kapurthala, Punjab, a minor accused.
