Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while addressing a function, said, “Today I want to tell the enemy that if you threaten to stop our water, then keep in mind that you cannot snatch even a drop of Pakistan’s water.” He warned that if India took any such action, “you will be taught such a lesson that you will have to regret.”
Sharif’s attitude changed

Sharif had said that his country is ready for ‘meaningful talks’ with India to resolve all pending issues. PM Sharif made this statement during a conversation with British High Commissioner Jane Marriott.
Bilawal’s harsh words
Before Shahbaz Sharif, former foreign minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) president Bilawal Bhutto had also spewed venom against India. Bhutto had threatened that if there is a war, we will not bow down and if anyone dares to encroach on Indus, then the people of Pakistan are ready to fight. He had said that I have sent a message to the whole world that India has taken a unilateral decision on the Indus Water Treaty.
What did Asim Munir say?
Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir had given a statement on the Indus Water Treaty from America. Munir had said that if India builds a dam on the Indus River, we will let it be built. By the time the dam is completed, we will shoot a missile and destroy it. Pakistan is a nuclear-powered country. We have no shortage of missiles. If we feel that we are sinking, we will sink taking half the world with us.
