Maharashtra: Sensation spread after five bodies were recovered from a well in Ahilya Nagar. A father killed his four children by throwing them in the well and then committed suicide by jumping into the same well. According to preliminary information, on Saturday, a man threw his four children into a well in Korhale village of Ahilyanagar district, due to which they died and then he himself committed suicide by jumping into the same well. Police is investigating this incident.
Reason for suicide and murder revealed
Police have identified the five dead bodies recovered from the well as Arun Sunil Kale (30), his daughter Shivani (9) and sons Prem (7), Veer (6) and Kabir (5). Police said that Arun had a fight with his wife, after which he first threw his four children in a well in the village in anger. Then he committed suicide by jumping into the same well.

The deceased Arun Kale was a resident of Chikhli village of Shrigonda taluka of Ahilyanagar district. His wife Shilpa had left the house and gone to her maternal home in Yeola in Nashik district due to some quarrels with her husband. Their children studied in a school. Kale was very upset with his wife’s refusal to return from her maternal home. On Saturday, he took his children from the ashram school on the pretext of getting their hair cut. But he took them on his motorcycle and went to bring his wife back.
Wife did not talk, husband committed the crime
On reaching Korhale village in Rahata taluka, he called his wife on mobile phone, but she did not respond. And even blocked her mobile number. After this, he got upset and threw his children one by one in the well there and then jumped into it.
Husband had threatened suicide
The incident came to light when some people saw a dead body in the well and a motorcycle was also found near the spot. People immediately informed the police, after which a team from Rahata police station reached the spot. The police identified Kale and contacted his wife. The police said that during a conversation with his wife, it was revealed that he had threatened to commit suicide. The bodies of Kale and his four children were taken out of the well and taken to a hospital for post-mortem. The police said that further investigation has been started to confirm the cause of the incident.
