In Hemant government, people used to get 100 units of free electricity every month, which Champai Soren increased to 125 units. CM Champai Soren took this decision on Wednesday.

In a review meeting with senior officials including the Chief Secretary, he directed the Energy Department to prepare a proposal in this regard. Let us tell you that with the aim of reducing the financial burden of the people, the state government had launched the ‘100-unit free electricity’ scheme in 2022. This scheme is applicable for domestic connections up to consumption of 100 units of electricity per month.

Meanwhile, officials told the CM that under the ‘Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar’ program, more than 59 lakh 28 thousand applications have been received, out of which more than 60 percent have been executed. Apart from this, Champai Soren directed to complete the process of giving grains to the green ration card holders every month and increasing the commission of PDS dealers soon.
