Jodhpur Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday (August 22, 2025) conducted raids across the country in a major case related to illegal online and offline betting. During this, ED teams also raided the Jodhpur house of businessman Samundar Singh Rathore, a resident of Nausar village in Barmer district, who does casino business in Goa.
According to the information, ED teams are investigating the business activities and suspicious transactions of Rathore and his associated group. The action started in the morning and continued till late evening. In this campaign led by ED Bengaluru Zonal Office, a total of 30 locations are being searched across the country.
5 big casinos of Goa on ED’s radar
This campaign includes 3 places in Jodhpur as well as 6 in Chitradurga district, 10 in Bengaluru city, 1 in Hubli, 2 in Mumbai and 8 in Goa. In this action taken in Goa, 5 big casinos are also on the radar of ED. Currently, ED teams are investigating the documents and digital devices seized during the search operation.
This entire case is said to be related to illegal transactions and betting networks linked to Karnataka’s Chitradurga MLA KC Veerendra and others. ED suspects that large-scale hawala and money laundering is going on through these networks. During the search operation in Goa’s big casinos, ED teams also reached Goa’s 5 major casinos Puppies Gold, Ocean Rivers, Puppies Pride, Ocean 7, Big Daddy and conducted searches.
Online betting sites caught
Many online betting websites have been exposed in this action, prominent among which are King567, Raja567 and Puppy’s003. It is being told that large-scale online betting and hawala business was being done through these sites.
