In an interview with Bloomberg Television’s Balance of Power, White House adviser Peter Navarro, referring to the conflict influenced by India, said that the road to peace “to some extent goes through New Delhi.” Navarro’s comments came at a time when President Donald Trump’s 50% tariff on Indian goods came into effect from Wednesday. Trump has taken this step in view of India’s purchase of Russian oil.
How can India’s tariff be reduced?

India is causing damage to America
Navarro has accused India of increasing Moscow’s war efforts. He said, “By buying Russian oil at a discount, Russia uses the money it gets to run its war machines and kill more Ukrainians.” “Everyone in America is suffering because of what India is doing. “He argued that this affects the US economy. Every sector is getting affected. Because our jobs, factories, income and high salaries are being lost due to India’s high tariffs.
He further said, “The money India earns by selling goods to us, it buys Russian oil, which is then processed by refineries and makes a lot of money there, but then the Russians use this money to make more weapons and kill Ukrainians, so the American taxpayer has to give more help to the Ukrainians militarily. This is madness.”
