CM Yogi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh talked about India’s missile system in Noida and said that if you have power then the world bows down.

Gautam Buddha Nagar: Defence equipment and engine testing centre of Rafe MFiber Pvt Ltd was inaugurated today in Sector 80 of Noida. UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh were also present on the occasion. On this occasion, CM Yogi said that one of the two defence industrial corridors being set up in the country is being developed in Uttar Pradesh. The state government has allotted 12,500 acres of land to set up defence manufacturing units in it. CM Yogi said that in UP, the corridor is being developed in six districts including Aligarh, Kanpur, Agra and Chitrakoot.

Balance between arms and scriptures is necessary
CM Yogi thanked Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for setting up the Brahmos missile manufacturing centre in Lucknow. He said that this missile system “demonstrated its strength during Operation Sindoor”. The CM said, “India has been facing challenges since 1947 and the nature of these challenges is constantly changing. If you have power, the world bows to you. This ancient concept is relevant even today.” Citing India’s traditional wisdom, CM Yogi said, “There should be a balance between arms and scriptures. A nation becomes powerful only by this balance, and only after becoming powerful can one appeal for peace.” He also quoted Maharana Pratap’s quote, ‘Veer Bhogya Vasundhara’ (the brave inherit the earth) to underline the importance of strength and courage.

Rajnath Singh emphasized the role of drones

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was also present at the event. Describing drones as important for modern war strategy, he stressed the need to include them in war policy. He said, “Usually when we hear the word ‘aircraft’, images of Tejas, Rafale and fighter planes come to our mind. This is also natural, because all these are fighter aircraft. However, in today’s changing times, drones have emerged as an important force in this field. Drones are now being deployed even in areas where larger equipment cannot reach. If you look closely at the Russia-Ukraine conflict, you will find that drones have been used extensively – before, now, and continuously. This proves that it has become extremely important to understand the importance of drones and include them in our war policy.”

Drones being used in war

Highlighting the history of drones, Rajnath Singh said, “In the early days, they were used only for surveillance and reconnaissance. Later, some countries started developing combat drones and many countries started using them in border conflicts.” He said, “Countries that have invested in drone technology have made significant progress in this field, while many others have been left behind. From my six to six-and-a-half years of experience (as Defence Minister), I can say that the reality of today’s defence sector rests on aircraft technology and drones.” The Defence Minister said that it is a matter of great pride that India is moving ahead rapidly in this field. He said, “Earlier we had to import drones, but today we are designing, developing and manufacturing them domestically.”
