In Bihar, the liquor ban is being trumped. The police pat their backs by claiming liquor ban, but in Bihar where liquor is banned, a father-in-law became the murderer of his son-in-law for the sake of liquor. A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Koili village of Bathnaha police station area of Sitamarhi district. Here, the father-in-law, fed up with his drunkard son-in-law, hired a contract killer to kill him. The deceased has been identified as Dilip Singh, who was addicted to drinking alcohol.
Police investigation revealed that Dilip’s father-in-law Akalu Mahato gave a contract killer Rs 1 lakh before the murder, out of which Rs 12,000 was given to the killers. Even after the murder, Rs 5,000 was given. An axe was used to carry out the murder. Not only this, Rajesh Paswan, a friend of Dilip Singh, was also called on the pretext of giving him liquor and killed. The bodies of both were found at some distance from each other in Banswari. SP disclosed the whole case in a press conference.
All the accused were caught within two weeks
Sitamarhi SP Amit Ranjan said that two bodies were found on August 17. After this, two people were seen going on a bike with the deceased in the CCTV camera. When the police caught both of them and interrogated them strictly, it was found that the deceased’s father-in-law had given the contract for the murder. In such a situation, they made the deceased sit in the car with them on the pretext of drinking alcohol and killed him with an axe. Along with him, his friend was also killed.
Murdered by giving alcohol
The accused planned the murder after taking the contract. Dilip was called on the pretext of drinking alcohol. He was given alcohol. Meanwhile, Dilip’s friend was also called for more alcohol. Initially, there was no plan to kill him, but when he reached the spot, the accused killed him as well. Dilip’s father-in-law told during interrogation that Dilip was selling his land due to his addiction to alcohol. Due to this, they planned the murder and executed it.
