GUJRAT: Congress MP Genniben Thakor has once again appealed to the Gujarat government to give ‘Rajya Mata’ status to ‘Gau Mata’ at least at the state level.

Congress MP Genniben Thakor has once again raised the demand to give Gau Mata the status of ‘Rashtriya Mata’. She said that the people of the entire country, saints and Gaushala Trusts are all making this demand in one voice. She has appealed to the Gujarat government to give ‘Gau Mata’ the status of ‘Rajya Mata’ at least at the state level.

Voice raised in Lok Sabha too
Genniben Thakor said, “The people of the entire country have the same demand. Saints, sages and Gau Mata believers, Gaushala Trustees, all have the same demand that Gau Mata should be given the status of National Mother. When I got the opportunity to speak in the Lok Sabha, I said that Gau Mata should be given the status of National Mother.”

Congress MP Genniben Thakor further said, “When Eknath Shinde’s government was in power in Maharashtra, he also gave Gau Mata the status of State Mother in Maharashtra.”

Appealed to Gujarat government as well

Congress MP Genniben Thakor clearly said that she has taken official action on this issue. The MP said, “I have also written a letter to the Kutch Collector. All the saints and sages are demanding the same thing that Gau Mata should be given the status of National Mother.”

Congress MP Genniben Thakor said that at least the Gujarat government should give Gau Mata the status of State Mother. This is the demand of the people and with this demand, I too stand with the saints and the people of Gujarat who are making this demand.”

Genniben Thakor said that she is not alone on this issue, but the common people are also standing with her. She says that respecting the sentiments of the public, the government should take steps in this direction.
