An earthquake struck a state in India on Monday night. These earthquakes were felt in Unakoti district of Tripura state in northeastern India. According to the National Center for Seismology, the tremors of the earthquake occurred at 8:27:43 pm on Monday night. The epicenter of the earthquake was at Latitude: 24.31 N, Longitude: 91.99 E at a depth of just 10 kilometers from the ground.

Mild tremors were felt in Unakoti district and surrounding areas like Dhalai, Khowai and North Tripura. Some local residents mentioned panic on social media, but local officials said that no major tremor complaints have been received.
