An important review meeting was held in the presence of MP Manoj Tiwari in the north-eastern Lok Sabha constituency of Delhi. The meeting was chaired by Rekha Gupta and the progress of development works was discussed in it.

In this meeting, strict instructions were also given to the officials regarding sewer, water supply and cleanliness in Delhi. Also, issues like development, education and health were also discussed from all sides.

Rekha Gupta himself informed about the meeting
After the meeting, Rekha Gupta gave detailed information on social media. He informed that Cabinet Associate Kapil Mishra has been appointed as the minister in charge of the north-east parliamentary constituency to speed up development works. This will help in establishing better coordination between Delhi government and public representatives. Officials have been instructed to give priority to the work related to basic facilities and should be completed on time.

Something special will happen on PM Narendra Modi’s birthday
The Delhi government has clarified that it is a priority to strengthen education, health and infrastructure for all-round development of North-East Delhi. It is planned to inaugurate projects worth several crore rupees in the area on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday (17 September). This will include many development works including Yamuna Park, which will give direct benefit to the common people. Along with this, health camps will also be organized on the health temples of all assembly constituencies on 18 and 19 September.

The presence of these public representatives and officials
In this review meeting, Delhi Assembly Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht, Delhi Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh, MCD Standing Committee Chairman Satya Sharma, MLAs and Councilors also attended. The presence of senior officials gave further strength to the decisions taken in the meeting. It is believed that this coordination will speed up the pace of development in North-Eastern Delhi and the long-pending problems of people will be resolved soon.
