Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been continuously raising the issue of vote theft. He is targeting the BJP and the Election Commission. Rahul Gandhi held a press conference on Thursday regarding vote theft. During this, he alleged fraudulent vote-cutting. He also presented evidence and claimed that this was happening under the protection of the Election Commission.
Following Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of vote theft, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis launched a scathing attack. He accused the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, of spreading lies. At the conclusion of the Voter Rights Yatra in Patna, Bihar, Rahul Gandhi had said that he had detonated an atom bomb regarding vote theft. Now, he would detonate a hydrogen bomb. There were speculations that he would detonate a hydrogen bomb in the presidential election on Thursday. However, Rahul said that there was no hydrogen bomb today. Instead of a hydrogen bomb, he made allegations of fraudulent vote deletion.
CM Fadnavis retaliated. CM Fadnavis, targeting Rahul Gandhi, said, “Rahul Gandhi’s hydrogen bomb had no sound, it was a fizzing bomb. It wasn’t even a bomb, and nothing was found after digging up a mountain. Rahul Gandhi is a serial liar. But lying so convincingly in front of the national media is an art, one that only he possesses.”
Rahul Gandhi’s much-hyped hydrogen bomb turned out to be a complete lie. Fadnavis said, “Rahul Gandhi had said that he would explode a hydrogen bomb.” The entire country was wondering what he would reveal, but it turned out to be completely useless. Rahul Gandhi lies with great confidence. He further said, “He never provides evidence, but speaks as if he has it all figured out. This technique is from Hitler’s minister, Joseph Goebbels—tell lies repeatedly so that people start believing them. But, Rahul Gandhi, this method will not work in this country.”
Allegations of Spreading Lies
Fadnavis alleged that by lying daily, Rahul Gandhi is insulting the Constitution, the judiciary, and the Election Commission. He said that Rahul thinks he will win Bihar by telling such lies, but Bihar will stand with Prime Minister Modi.
Rahul Gandhi Accuses of Vote Cutting
Rahul Gandhi claimed in a press conference on Thursday that an attempt was made to delete 6,018 voter names in the Aland region of Karnataka. He also alleged that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar is protecting vote thieves and is aware of how the voter list is being manipulated.
He said he had 10% evidence that the Chief Election Commissioner was protecting vote thieves. However, the Election Commission (ECI) dismissed Rahul Gandhi’s allegations as baseless and false. The Commission stated that no vote can be deleted online.
The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Karnataka also responded that in December 2022, 6,018 online applications (Form 7) were received for voter deletion in the Aland Assembly constituency. Upon suspicion, each application was scrutinized. Of these, only 24 applications were found to be correct, while 5,994 were found to be incorrect. Therefore, only 24 names were removed, and all others were rejected.
The Congress leader also alleged that the investigation into this alleged fraud has been stalled for two years because the Election Commission is not responding to CID letters, which is proof that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar is protecting vote thieves.
