Bihar: In a rally held in Khagaria before the assembly elections, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary launched a direct attack on Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi and Congress, saying that after leaving power, Lalu made his wife the Chief Minister.

The Bihar Assembly elections are heating up, and politicians are exchanging sharp rhetoric. During a rally in Khagaria, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary launched a direct attack on Lalu Prasad Yadav and the Congress. The Chief Minister stated in his speech that after his father-in-law (Lalu Yadav) stepped down, he made his wife (Rabri Devi) the Chief Minister. During their 15-year rule, these people did nothing for Bihar, especially for women.

Appealing to the public, Nitish Kumar stated that before 2005, the situation in Bihar was very bad. People were afraid to leave their homes after 7 p.m. There was an atmosphere of fear and conflict throughout society. He added that his government had worked to empower women and provided 50 percent reservation in Panchayati Raj. Through livelihood groups, millions of women received employment and opportunities to become self-reliant.

Nitish emphasizes women and development work
The Chief Minister stated that his government has worked not just for his family but for the entire Bihar. He pointed out that his government initiated the Jeevika groups in Bihar, which the central government has now implemented nationwide. Claiming that the state and central governments are working together for development in every sector, he assured the public that any pending work will be completed. At the gathering held at Kosi Inter School in Beldaur, Nitish told the people that whatever work they want done, tell them, and it will definitely be completed.

Samrat Chaudhary targeted the Congress and Rahul Gandhi
At the gathering, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary also sharply targeted the Congress and Rahul Gandhi, saying that the Congress party never strengthened democracy and the reservation system. Samrat recalled that the Congress party was responsible for sending Nitish Kumar to jail in 1974. He claimed that migration in Bihar has been curbed thanks to the Nitish government. Previously, there was 13 percent migration, but now employment opportunities are available within Bihar. Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi, Chaudhary said that he is currently touring Bihar, but his family has only held the state and the country back.
