Mumbai: In a fight during a late night liquor party in Sanjay Nagar under the Kurar police station area, a young man fired three rounds from a country-made revolver at his friend. The seriously injured friend is battling for his life in the hospital.

A sensational shooting incident occurred late last night in the Sanjay Nagar area, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Kurar police station in Mumbai. According to police, a fight broke out between two friends over a property dispute. Meanwhile, a young man opened fire on his friend. The incident caused panic in the area. The accused fled the scene before police arrived. The seriously injured man was admitted to a hospital for treatment, where his condition remains critical.

Police reported that Tula Sheikh, a resident of Kurar Village, was drinking alcohol with his friend Guddu alias Babu Bihari and another friend in a room in Sanjay Nagar. An argument between Babu Bihari and Tula Sheikh over a property dispute escalated. During the altercation, Babu Bihari pulled a country-made revolver from his pocket and fired three rounds at Tula Sheikh. Tula Sheikh was seriously injured in the crossfire.

Friend shot friend
One bullet hit his friend’s neck, while two others grazed his neck. Hearing the gunshots, people nearby immediately informed the police. Kurar police arrived at the scene, but by then the accused, Babu Bihari, and his accomplice had fled. The bloodied Tula Sheikh was first taken to Shatabdi Hospital, from where he was later referred to JJ Hospital. Doctors removed the bullet lodged in his neck. However, his condition remains critical.

Police Search for Accused
Kurar police have registered a case against the accused under charges of firing and attempted murder. Police are also investigating where Babu Bihari obtained the country-made pistol and the real motive behind the incident. Police say the absconding accused will be arrested soon.
