Singrauli: A unique incident has come to light in the Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh. A child called the police with such innocence that even the police were moved. The 10-year-old boy called the emergency number 112 to complain about his mother and sister. The child, weeping, told the police that his mother and sister had tied him with a rope and beaten him. The child was beaten for asking for 20 rupees for some crisps. Hearing the child’s complaint, the police arrived at his home and got him some.
The beating was for crisps.
The entire incident took place in Chitravai Kala village, under the Khutar outpost of the Kotwali police station area. The child’s name is said to be Deepak. Deepak had asked his mother for 20 rupees to buy crisps. When he didn’t get the money, his mother and sister scolded and beat him. Angered by the beating, the child immediately called 112. When Head Constable Umesh Vishwakarma, who received the call, asked the child the reason, he innocently replied, “I asked my mother for 20 rupees for some Kurkure, but instead of giving me the money, she beat me.”
Child Complains Over Call
The policeman tried to reason with the child, but he refused to let him talk to his mother over the phone. Subsequently, the police team traced the child’s location and reached the village. Surprisingly, Head Constable Umesh Vishwakarma arrived at Deepak’s house with a packet of Kurkure. He gave the Kurkure to the child and lovingly explained to his parents that children’s small wishes are of great importance to him. It’s better to explain to them rather than getting angry. A video of this unique complaint and the police’s humanitarian initiative is going viral on social media. The incident is said to have occurred on September 28th.
