Amid the ongoing war with Russia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Russia of damaging civilian infrastructure. On Sunday (October 5, 2025), Zelensky shared a video on the social media platform X, writing that Russia is openly attempting to destroy our civilian infrastructure. Attempts are being made to damage our gas infrastructure, our power generation and transmission.
Zelensky stated that there has been no reaction from the world to Russia’s actions. He stated that they will fight so that the world will not remain silent and Russia will feel the retaliation.
Many critical components in Russian missiles and attack drones are foreign-made – Zelensky
Earlier, he wrote on X that every Russian missile and every Russian attack drone contains components that are still being supplied to Russia from Western countries and countries close to Russia. He wrote that a Russian Kinzhal missile contains 96 foreign-made components, many of which are critical and which Russia does not produce itself. Significantly, the approximately 500 drones used by Russia overnight contained over 100,000 foreign-made parts manufactured in the United States, China, Taiwan, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and the Netherlands.
Foreign Minister Threatens Those Conspiring Against Russia
Previously, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned countries conspiring against Russia. He also set conditions for stopping attacks on Ukraine. Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov stated that any aggression against Russia would be met with a firm response. He stated that Western countries continue to threaten the use of force against Russia.
Russian President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly rejected such provocations. Lavrov stated that Russia never had and never has any such intention.
