Renewed claim regarding Russian oil purchases
The US President has again claimed regarding oil purchases from Russia, saying that PM Modi told him that he will not buy more oil from Russia. He has made such claims several times before. However, the Indian Foreign Ministry had completely rejected these claims by Trump. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal had said that PM Modi and Trump had not spoken on the phone.

Trump claimed to have spoken with PM Modi last week

India’s Foreign Ministry had said that ‘there was no phone call between the two leaders.’
