Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited the official residence of Bihar Minister Nitin Naveen on Saturday, the first day of the four-day Chhath Puja celebrations. Following this, in a post on Instagram, Nitin Naveen wrote, “Union Home Minister Amit Shah came to my house to partake of the prasad on the first day of the Chhath Puja celebrations. The Home Minister’s immense devotion and unwavering faith in Chhathi Maiya is a matter of pride for Bihar.”
Prior to this, Home Minister Amit Shah addressed three consecutive public meetings in Khagaria, Munger, and Bihar Sharif in support of NDA candidates. During these meetings, he sharply targeted the entire Grand Alliance, including the RJD and Congress.
Chhath Puja to Conclude on Tuesday
The four-day Chhath Puja celebration, which began with the “Nahay Khay” ritual, will conclude on Tuesday. It is celebrated on the sixth day of the Shukla Paksha (bright fortnight) of Kartik month, six days after Diwali. On the first day, devotees take a holy dip in the Ganges, rivers, or ponds. The following day, a full-day fast is observed, culminating in the evening with worship of the Sun and Moon.

On the third day, called “Pehla Argh” or “Sandhya Argh,” devotees and their families offer prasad at sunset. On the fourth day, devotees conclude the festival with worship of the rising sun.

Bihar Will Continue on the Path of Development
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Saturday that the Bihar Assembly elections will determine whether the state will return to jungle raj or continue on the path of development. Addressing an election rally in Khagaria district, Amit Shah targeted the All India Alliance for opposing the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list and said that every single infiltrator will be identified, their names removed from the voter list, and they will be deported to their countries.
NDA Government Again in Bihar
The Home Minister claimed that the NDA government will be formed again in Bihar and said that our government will identify and deport every single infiltrator from the country, they will be identified, and they will be deported. He said that this election is not about electing anyone as an MLA, minister, or chief minister. This election will decide whether the jungle raj of Lalu-Rabri will return in Bihar or with the coming of NDA, developed Bihar will make its mark in the entire country.
