Uttarakhand: A woman in Roorkee, who had been begging outside an old house for 13 years, was found with over Rs 1 lakh in her bag, leaving everyone stunned.

In Roorkee, Uttarakhand, everyone was stunned when over one lakh rupees were found in the bag of a begging woman. She had been begging in one place for 13 years. When she was being removed, the money suddenly fell from her bag, leaving people stunned. The woman has not yet been identified. She is unable to speak properly. The entire area is wondering where she got so much money.

After learning of the case, police arrived at the scene and are attempting to question the woman. The incident took place in the Pathanpura Mohalla of the Mangalore Kotwali area. An unknown woman has been living outside an old house near Chungi No. 3 for the past 13 years. Passers-by have been offering her alms, and some even provided food and drinks.

The woman was mentally disabled and unable to speak. The locals helped her. On Friday, when the woman and her belongings were removed from the house where she lived to allow construction work to begin, money suddenly fell out of her bag. People were astonished to see the money.

17 kilograms of coins found

A bundle of notes was also tied in the bag. When counted, it turned out to be over one lakh rupees. Along with this, 17 kilograms of coins were also found. Police arrived at the scene after receiving information. Most of the notes were small, but there were also a large number of coins. Inspector Amarjeet Singh said that the woman has not yet been identified. She was found without any documents and is unable to communicate. She will soon be transferred to a safe place where she will receive medical assistance and rehabilitation.
