US President Donald Trump has kept open the possibility of running for a third presidential term in 2028. Speaking to the media aboard Air Force One, when asked about former White House strategist Steve Bannon’s recent suggestion that he seek a third term through unconstitutional means, Trump said, “I would love to do that. I have the best numbers I’ve ever had.” However, he immediately added that he “hasn’t really thought about running again.”

According to Politico, Bannon, a close ally of the former president, has been one of Trump’s most vocal supporters for re-election. He recently claimed on his podcast that he has a plan for a third term. However, the US Constitution limits the president to two terms.
