Just four days before his daughter’s wedding, on Tuesday (October 28), a father was killed after being hit by a train. The accident was so horrific that the train dragged him for 100 meters.

A tragic accident in Chirawa town, Jhunjhunu district, shocked the entire area on Tuesday. Suresh Saini, a resident of Dalmia, died on the spot after being hit by the Sainik Express train running on the Delhi-Jaipur route near a railway crossing.
According to eyewitnesses, when the Sainik Express train approached the Khetri Road railway crossing, Suresh suddenly jumped out from under the gate and came in front of the train. The train dragged Suresh for approximately 100 meters.
Wedding preparations were in full swing at home, causing a commotion.
The deceased, Suresh Saini, was a farmer. The family has a son and a daughter. The tragedy is that his daughter’s wedding was scheduled for November 2nd, but the accident turned the joy into mourning.
The wedding tent had been set up. The confectioners had arrived to prepare sweets. Pre-wedding rituals were being performed. Upon receiving the news of the accident, chaos erupted in the family. Police from the Chirawa police station arrived at the scene, removed the body from the railway track and placed it in the mortuary of the Chirawa sub-district hospital. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
