Patna: The NDA has released its election manifesto for the Bihar Assembly elections. The NDA’s manifesto promises numerous schemes, but the NDA’s press conference garnered more attention than the announcements themselves. In fact, after releasing the manifesto, NDA leaders neither provided detailed information nor answered questions. The Grand Alliance leaders made this an issue. Immediately after the manifesto was launched, NDA leaders JP Nadda, Nitish Kumar, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Upendra Kushwaha, and Chirag Paswan left, and no one held a press conference. Only BJP leader and Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary briefed the media on the manifesto.

Former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav questioned the manner in which the NDA released its manifesto. Lalu Yadav tweeted late last night on his X handle, “Those who don’t even have time to read their manifesto cannot implement it. Their history and present have proven this, so the public has now resolved to choose the Grand Alliance’s pledge and bring about a Tejashwi government of the people.”

Meanwhile, the Grand Alliance’s Chief Ministerial candidate, Tejashwi Yadav, said that Nitish Kumar may not know what’s in the manifesto. The BJP may have feared that Nitish Kumar might say something wrong, so the press conference was ended in just 26 seconds. Tejashwi said that in democratic history, the NDA’s manifesto for Bihar was released in just 26 seconds, and the current Chief Minister was not even allowed to speak. What kind of secrecy is this, what kind of relationship is this that is being hidden everywhere?

Congress said, “Saw a 26-second press conference for the first time.”

Meanwhile, Congress leader and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said, “It’s the first time I’ve seen a 26-second press conference in my life. The NDA had nothing to say… On top of that, there must have been some concern about what Nitish Kumar might say… It seems that’s why the NDA leaders left without a word in 26 seconds.”
