The Bharatiya Janata Party released its list of candidates for the by-elections to 12 Delhi Municipal Corporation seats on Sunday (November 9). Let’s find out which leader has been nominated from which ward.
The BJP has nominated Jaipal Singh from Mundka Ward, Anita Jain from Shalimar Bagh-B, Veena Asija from Ashok Vihar, Suman Kumar Gupta from Chandni Chowk, Sunil Sharma from Chandni Mahal, Manisha Rajpal Sehrawat from Dwarka-B, Rekha Rani from Dichon Kalan, Chandrakanta Shivani from Naraina, Rohini Raj from Dakshinpuri, Shubhrajit Gautam from Sangam Vihar-A, Anjum Mandal from Greater Kailash, and Sarla Chaudhary from Vinod Nagar.
BJP releases list of candidates for MCD by-elections, gives tickets to these leaders

AAP also fielded candidates
On Sunday (November 9), the Aam Aadmi Party also announced its candidates for the MCD by-elections. The party fielded candidates in a total of 12 wards. Saurabh Bhardwaj, president of the Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi unit, released this list.
According to the list, Ram Swaroop Kanojia has been nominated from Dakshinpuri ward, Anuj Sharma from Sangam Vihar A, Ishna Gupta from Greater Kailash, Geeta Rawat from Vinod Nagar, Babita Ahlawat from Shalimar Bagh B, Seema Vikas Goyal from Ashok Vihar, and Harsh Sharma from Chandni Chowk.
Muddasir Usman Qureshi has been nominated from Chandni Mahal, Rajbala Sehrawat from Dwarka B, Anil Lakra from Mundka, Rajan Arora from Naraina, and Neetu Keshav Chauhan from Dichhaun Kalan.
Voting will be held on November 30th.
Voting for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) by-elections in 12 wards of Delhi will be held on November 30th from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Voting will take place on December 3rd. It should be noted that this by-election in the Delhi MCD is a tough contest between the BJP, Congress, and the Aam Aadmi Party.
The Shalimar Bagh-B ward was represented by current Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta as a councilor, but the seat fell vacant after she assumed the Chief Minister’s office. The Dwarka-B ward seat fell vacant after BJP councilor Kamaljeet Sehrawat was elected as a Member of Parliament from the West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency.
