Congress leader Rahul Gandhi arrived two minutes late at the party’s training camp in Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh, and was made to do 10 push-ups as punishment.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi arrived two minutes late at a Congress training camp in Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh. He was punished for this delay. He accepted the punishment. He completed the “punishment” of ten push-ups, according to a party worker. Congress leaders stated that Rahul Gandhi followed the “punishment” of ten push-ups for arriving late at the camp under the Organization Creation Campaign (SSA). Sachin Rao, head of the AICC training department, instructed participants to follow the “ten push-up punishment” rule. The campaign concluded on November 11.

Congress media coordinator Abhinav Baroliya stated that this was nothing new or surprising for Rahul Gandhi. “We strictly adhere to discipline in our camp,” he said. “The party is democratic, with the rules being the same for all members. Everyone is treated equally. There is no dictatorship in our party like the BJP.” He added that Rahul Gandhi later went to Bihar for election campaigning.

Second visit to Madhya Pradesh in 5 months
When contacted, Sachin Rao said he was not at liberty to discuss any further details of the camp. This was the Leader of the Opposition’s second visit to Madhya Pradesh in five months as part of an initiative to strengthen the party organization. The Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) was announced during the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting in Belagavi last December.

The campaign launched in Bhopal on June 3 this year. A Congress leader said, “We have not been in power in Madhya Pradesh for a long time and, under Mission 2028, we are working towards forming the government in the state once again.”
