Former Deputy Chief Minister and BJP candidate from Katihar, Tarkishore Prasad, said, “Our Katihar Assembly constituency is included in this second phase of Bihar Assembly elections. PM Modi wrote in a post on Instagram, “Today is the second and final phase of voting in the Bihar Assembly elections. I request all voters to participate enthusiastically and set a new voting record. I especially urge my young friends from the state who are going to vote for the first time to not only vote themselves but also inspire others to do so.”
People voting in favor of the NDA: Upendra Kushwaha
Rashtriya Lok Morcha chief Upendra Kushwaha said, “You can see the huge crowds at the polling stations. It is clear that the people are voting enthusiastically in favor of the NDA. The situation is bright for the NDA in every way.”

HAM workers assaulted
Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said, “The incident in the Attari assembly constituency is a premeditated one. Two HAM workers were returning after submitting documents at a polling station. They were brutally beaten (by RJD workers). They were hit with rods. I have told police officials that this was done to intimidate our voters. We will have to be careful tomorrow and arrangements should be made.”
