New Delhi: Philippe Dewinter, a member of Belgium’s Flemish Parliament and a senior leader of the Vlaams Belang party, has openly labeled Pakistan a “terrorist state.” Dewinter has demanded a complete ban on Pakistan across Europe. He stated that Pakistan provides money, weapons, and all kinds of facilities to terrorist organizations. He stated that India and Europe have a common enemy: radical Islamic terrorism. Dewinter is currently in New Delhi to participate in the “Global Patriots Meet 2025.”
“Pakistan is a terrorist state”
Dewinter said, “India and Western countries face the same threat: radical Islamic terrorism. We have the same enemy. Pakistan supports these radical jihadist movements and terrorist groups with money, logistics, and all kinds of facilities. The attacks in Delhi a few weeks ago are proof of this. The same thing happens in our country. Therefore, Pakistan is a terrorist state, and Europe should completely ban it.” Philippe Dewinter is a prominent leader of Belgium’s right-wing and Flemish nationalist party, Vlaams Belang.
“We are exchanging ideas.”
The Global Patriots Meet 2025 is being held at the India International Centre in Delhi. Leaders, thinkers, and parliamentarians from nationalist parties around the world are participating in this conference. Its aim is to draw lessons from India’s long-standing anti-terrorism struggle and “nation first” policy. Regarding the conference’s objective, Dewinter said, “Its primary objective is to increase cooperation between patriotic parties around the world. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in India is the largest force in this region. We are exchanging ideas and exploring new avenues of cooperation.” (ANI)
