AAP MP Sanjay Singh said that a large number of voters are being removed from the voter list under the categories of death, permanently shifted, and untraceable. A ’Save the Vote – Save the Constitution’ march will begin on the 21st…

Aam Aadmi Party Uttar Pradesh in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh announced in Bareilly on Sunday that the Aam Aadmi Party’s “Save the Vote, Save the Constitution” march will be held from December 21st to 26th. This march will cover Rampur, Moradabad, and Amroha districts. Sanjay Singh stated that during the march, four major public meetings will be held in Rampur, Moradabad, Pakwara, and Amroha, with welcome and interactive programs organized in between. He stated that the march will focus on two key themes: protecting the right to vote and protecting the Constitution.

Sanjay Singh stated that the votes of millions of voters in Uttar Pradesh are under threat. He alleged that deliberate, massive rigging is taking place in each district. In Bihar, 7070,000 votes were cancelled in one assembly constituency, and now a conspiracy is underway to cancel nearly 20 million votes in Uttar Pradesh. He stated that the Aam Aadmi Party has evidence of such rigging in Lucknow, Jaunpur, and Rampur. He said that by December 11th, he would reveal the details of each district; the figures are shocking.

Injustice towards sanitation workers from Assam
He reported that the Lucknow Mayor issued notices to sanitation workers from Assam, who possessed all the documents, including NRC, Aadhaar, ration card, and residence certificate, to vacate the city, calling them Bangladeshis. In Dulaipur, Jaunpur, people who came to work from Varanasi are being declared foreigners and their votes are being cancelled. Sanjay Singh said, “This is vote robbery. At the behest of the BJP, genuine voters are being excluded from the list in the name of the SIR process.”

Referring to the Rampur incident, he said that a family that has lived there for generations is being harassed solely to cancel their votes. This is a robbery of democracy in the name of SIR. Sanjay Singh said that this is why this march, starting from December 21st and continuing until December 26th, will be to protect the vote and the Constitution.

The second theme of the tour is “Save the Constitution.”
Sanjay Singh said that this country will be governed by the Constitution of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, not by the decrees of any other Baba. Both the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister have sworn in on this Constitution, so how can anyone say that India will become a Hindu nation? He said, if everyone demands their own nation—a Sikh nation, a Tamil nation, a Naga nation—then the country will again be divided into princely states. The BJP is working to divide the country, not unite it.

Regarding the bulldozer action in Bareilly, he said that by using bulldozers on Muslims, the BJP is also crushing Dalits and backward classes. This is a cosmetic action to divide society. A 140-year-old temple in Delhi was demolished to make way for an RSS parking lot, 300 temples in Kashi were demolished in the name of the Kashi Corridor, houses and temples were demolished in Ayodhya, and sanitation workers’ huts in Sultanpur were bulldozed.

How many will be kept in detention centers?
On the issue of Bangladeshi infiltrators, he said that the BJP pretends to catch Bangladeshis before every election. He said that a total of 315 people were found in Bihar’s SIR process, of whom 78 were Muslims and the rest were Hindus from Nepal. Eight million votes were cut—including those of Brahmins, officers, Dalits, and backward castes. Will everyone be put in detention centers?

Finally, Sanjay Singh said that this Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) padayatra will travel to every district with the message of “Save the Vote, Save the Constitution.” He said that they will make the public aware of how democracy is being murdered and the Constitution is being trampled under the guise of the SIR process. This yatra is a fight to protect the rights of the people and to honor democracy.
