A major reshuffle in the administrative structure of Uttar Pradesh is set to take place with the start of the new year. The government issued orders on Friday for the promotion of 67 IAS officers, effective January 1st. Four officers from the 2001 batch have been promoted to Principal Secretary, while 19 officers from the 2010 batch have been promoted to Secretary/Commissioner rank. Additionally, officers from the 2013 batch have been given the Selection Grade pay scale, and the 2022 batch has been given the Senior Time Scale.

These orders were issued by Principal Secretary, Appointment and Personnel, M. Devraj. According to administrative sources, the District Magistrate of Lakhimpur Kheri may also be transferred as she will be promoted to Secretary rank from January 1st.

Further transfers of other IAS officers are also possible. Some officers from the 2010 batch may also be appointed to Commissioner posts after their promotion. Shashi Bhushan Lal Sushil, Ajay Kumar Shukla, Aparna U, and SVS Rangarao will be appointed Principal Secretaries.

These officers are in the queue for Secretary and Commissioner posts. Akhand Pratap Singh, Kumar Prashant, Neha Sharma, Monika Rani, Shambhu Kumar, Yogesh Kumar, Nitish Kumar, Bhavani Singh Khangarot, Sandeep Kaur, Durgashakti Nagpal, Ravindra Kumar, Om Prakash Arya, Nagendra Pratap, Divya Prakash Giri, Krishna Kumar, and Sudha Verma will receive the Supertime pay scale. In addition, K. Balaji, Ashutosh Niranjan, and Sujit Kumar, who are on central deputation, have also been promoted.

These officers from the 2013 batch will receive the Selection Grade pay scale. IAS officers Divya Mittal, Rajkamal Yadav, Priyanka Niranjan, Satyendra Kumar, Apurva Dubey, Anuj Singh, Harshita Mathur, Avinash Kumar, Deepa Ranjan, Ramesh Ranjan, Sanjeev Ranjan, Ravindra Kumar Mandad, Samuel Pal N, Jitendra Pratap Singh, Alok Singh, Shubhrant Shukla, Vishal Bhardwaj, Dharmendra Pratap Singh, Dr. Vijay Kumar Singh, Dhirendra Singh Sachan, Dr. Vandana Verma, Prem Prakash Singh, Aryaka Akhauri, Sunil Kumar Verma, Anita Verma Singh, Shishir, Satyaprakash Patel, Dr. Kanchan Saran, Raghubir, Chandni Singh, and Rajesh Kumar Tyagi will be given the selection grade pay scale.
