The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has received ED notices one after the other from three leaders of West Bengal. ED has sent summons to TMC MP and actor Deb, former Union Minister Mukul Roy and expelled TMC leader from Lok Sabha Mahua Moitra. According to sources, ED has called Trinamool MP Deb to the ED office in Delhi on 21 February. Whereas Mukul Roy has been called on 19th February. According to sources, Deb has been summoned in a case related to financial fraud. Not only Deb, the Income Tax Department has also sent summons to Trinamool’s Potashpur MLA Uttam Barik. On the other hand, ED has sent summons to BJP MLA and former Union Minister Mukul Roy. Mukul Roy has been called to Delhi office. According to sources, Krishnanagar North MLA has been summoned in the Alchemist corruption case. Mukul Roy has been called to Delhi on 19 February.
On the other hand, TMC leader and suspended Lok Sabha MP Mahua Moitra has been summoned by the ED on February 19 under the Foreign Exchange Management Act. Let us tell you that Mahua Moitra was expelled from the Lok Sabha for asking questions in Parliament in exchange for gifts and cash.
