MAHARASHTRA: A 15-year-old minor girl was allegedly raped by three accused, one of the accused was a friend of the girl who along with two other boys made a video and blackmailed the girl and committed the crime.

Nagpur: A shocking incident has emerged from the Nandanvan area of ​​Nagpur, Maharashtra. According to reports, a 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by three men in Nandanvan on Tuesday. After her health deteriorated following the incident, the girl narrated her ordeal to her family. Based on the victim’s complaint, police arrested a 19-year-old man on Wednesday, while two other minor boys were taken into custody.

One of the accused was a friend of the victim. Police stated that one of the accused was a friend of the victim. He invited her to his room. When the girl arrived, two other friends of the accused were also present. Police stated that the other two accused filmed an intimate moment between the girl and her friend. According to the victim’s complaint, after making the video, they blackmailed her and gang-raped her, threatening to make the video viral. The girl’s health began to deteriorate after the accused committed the crime.

Police also invoked sections of the POCSO Act.
The girl managed to reach home and told her family what had happened. The victim and her family went to the Nandanvan police station and filed a complaint. Based on the victim’s complaint, the police immediately registered a case and began an investigation. Police have also invoked sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. A police officer stated, “One accused has been arrested, while the minors have been detained.” The officer added that further investigations are underway, and the victim is being provided with necessary assistance and protection.
