Work on Flyovers and Drainage

Yamuna Cleaning
Previous governments never paid attention to the Yamuna. The Yamuna becomes polluted due to the sewage that flows into it. We started working on this from day one.
37 STPs were in very poor condition. 28 of them have been upgraded. Work is underway on 9 others.
Tendering for the construction of 34 new STPs has begun.
Delhi previously had a 700 MGD STP treatment capacity. We aim to increase this to 1,500 MGD. Currently, we have reached 814 MGD.
Pollution
The previous government never addressed pollution. They only raised slogans.
We started work on both dust and smoke. This is a year-long project.
Wall-to-wall carpeting is being done across Delhi.
3.5 million Indian trees will be planted in Delhi.
Delhi today has 4,000 EV buses. No other state has such a large fleet of EVs.

Mountains of Garbage
