Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of Gujarat and Varanasi today. PM Modi will first go to Ahmedabad in the morning, where he will participate in the golden jubilee celebrations of Amul Cooperative. More than 1.25 lakh farmers are participating in this function to be held at Narendra Modi Stadium. PM Modi is also going to inaugurate Vadinath Dham temple in Mehsana today. Apart from this, PM Modi is going to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 25 thousand crore in Navsari and Kakrapar. PM Modi will also visit his parliamentary constituency Varanasi late in the evening today where he will participate in many programs tomorrow. A grand welcome program for PM Modi has also been organized in Varanasi today.
Will felicitate more than 1.25 lakh farmers
Today Prime Minister Modi is on a tour from Delhi to Ahmedabad and then from Ahmedabad to Kashi. PM Modi is going to travel by air for about 1800 kilometers in a day today. This journey in one day shows what mode the PM is in. PM Modi’s journey is going to start from Gujarat. Preparations have been completed to welcome PM Modi with the greetings of lakhs of farmers in Ahmedabad. At 10.45 am, PM Modi will reach Narendra Modi Stadium, where Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation, which gives the Amul brand, will celebrate its golden jubilee. More than 1.25 lakh dairy farmers from 18 thousand 600 villages of Gujarat will participate in this program. The special thing will be that 45 percent of the dairy farmers in this function will be women.
PM Modi will reach Vadinath temple
After this, from Narendra Modi Stadium, PM Modi will directly reach Vadinath Temple in Mehsana. Vadinath Dham is known as the biggest Gaddi i.e. Gaddi of Rabari of Gujarat. The population of Rabari community in Gujarat is about 70 lakh. Shivalinga, which manifested itself 900 years ago, is installed in this temple. The construction of the temple started 12 years ago and has been completed today. This temple, about 150 feet high and 165 feet wide, is spread over 1.5 lakh cubic feet. Sculptors from Rajasthan and Odisha have created 68 religious pillars here after 12 years of carving.
PM’s program in Kashi also late evening
Let us tell you that during his visit to Gujarat today, PM Modi will gift projects worth more than Rs 25 thousand crore in Mehsana, Navsari and Kakrapari. After Gujarat tour, PM Modi will reach Kashi late in the evening. Preparations have been made to welcome PM Modi at six places on the way from the airport to Bareka Guest House. Next day, PM Modi will inaugurate Banas Amul plant in Kashi. Along with this, PM will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 36 projects. PM will also address a public meeting in Kashi. Before that, PM Modi will also visit BHU Swatantrata Bhawan as well as Seer Govardhan, the birthplace of Sant Ravidas.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today dedicate to the nation two new Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors (PHWR) with a total capacity of 1,400 MW at Kakrapar Atomic Power Station in Surat district. Along with this, he will inaugurate or lay the foundation stone of many projects during his one-day visit to Gujarat. Officials gave this information on Wednesday (February 21).
According to the statement issued by PIB, the Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation two new units at Kakrapar Atomic Power Station (KAPS). It said that the KAPS-3 and KAPS-4 projects, built at a cost of more than Rs 22,500 crore by Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), have a cumulative capacity of 1400 MW and are the largest indigenous PHWRs.
Many states will get big benefits from these reactors
The statement said – These are the first reactors of their kind which are equipped with advanced safety features compared to the best reactors in the world. These two reactors will generate about 10.4 billion units of clean electricity every year and will benefit consumers in several states and union territories like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa and Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
Will help in moving towards zero carbon emissions
The power plants, designed by Indian scientists and engineers, will help Gujarat move towards achieving zero carbon emissions by using clean and sustainable energy sources, the state government said in a separate statement.
Till now NPCIL has produced 870 billion units of clean electricity.
NPCIL said in a release that the country’s nuclear power plants have so far generated about 870 billion units of clean electricity, resulting in reduction of about 748 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions.
Modi will also visit parliamentary constituency Varanasi, this is the complete plan
Apart from this, PM Modi will also reach parliamentary constituency Varanasi in the evening, where his visit will be for 2 days (22 and 23 February). BJP’s metropolitan president Vidyasagar Rai told news agency PTI that the PM will inaugurate 23 projects worth about Rs 14 thousand crore and lay the foundation stone of 13 projects in Kashi. Along with this he will also address two public meetings.
- PM Modi’s plane will land at Varanasi airport at around 9 pm on 22 February. After this he will go to BLW Guest House.
The next day the Prime Minister will reach the Parliamentarian Knowledge Competition at Swatantra Bhawan of Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
He will interact with the participants of Sansad Photography Competition and Sansad Sanskrit Competition in BHU.
During this period, the Prime Minister will also honor five prominent participants in each category.
Further, from the PM University, Sir Govardhan will reach Ravidas Temple, where he will inaugurate the grand statue of Ravidas. There will also be a public meeting.
Later he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 36 projects worth more than Rs 14 thousand crore in the Karkhiyav Amul plant complex. Then there will be a public meeting.
On February 23, 2024, PM Modi will inaugurate Amul’s largest plant, Banas Dairy.
This project will provide direct and indirect employment to about one lakh people.
