Delhi: The house of Hasan, a rat miner lawyer living in Delhi, has been demolished with a bulldozer. Advocate Hasan had saved the lives of 41 laborers trapped in the Shilkyara tunnel of Uttarkashi. Hassan, a rat miner lawyer living in Shriram Colony of Khajuri Khas area, alleges that the Delhi Development Authority has bulldozed the houses without giving any notice.
At the same time, after the bulldozing of the house, the reactions of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari and Lieutenant Governor of Delhi have also come to light.
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said, ‘I am very sad. It is a different matter that his house was illegal. He had only one house. He has done very good work for the country. We have also spoken to the Lieutenant Governor and the VC of Delhi Development Authority, but the information was received only after his house had been demolished. We will provide them houses under PM Awas Yojana.
At the same time, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi said, ‘Last year in November, the house of respected rat miner lawyer Hasan was bulldozed to save 41 workers trapped in the Silkyara tunnel of Uttarkashi along with his team. I have been informed about this and we will definitely compensate. They will also be provided a house.
AAP leader and Delhi minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said, ‘When all eyes were on Uttarakhand, these rat miners risked their lives and saved the lives of tunnel workers. At that time all the BJP leaders went to his house to take credit. Yesterday, DDA working under the Central Government demolished the house of one of those rat miners. It is not about this one house, lakhs of people have lost their homes in the last one and a half years. Where will these people go? People have been left on the streets without giving anything as an alternative.
At the same time, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said, ‘It is not good to demolish the houses of those who saved people and prevented many houses from being destroyed. Does the BJP government reward good work like this? Different leaders presented their opinions regarding the matter through social media. However, Wakin’s family is sad after the demolition of the house and the government is now assuring all possible help.
