Relief to Vaisi from High Court
While hearing the case, the High Court had issued summons to Asaduddin Owaisi and passed an order to appear before him. Owaisi had filed an application in Allahabad High Court demanding cancellation of this criminal action.
On behalf of the petitioner, it was said that the CJM has issued this summons without any statement. He is a resident of another state and necessary approval was not taken before the complaint was initiated against him. The government advocate said that there is no sanction from the prosecution.
This is a case of complaint filed by the private respondent. On this, the court has given the complainant/defendant a chance to file a reply. Now the next hearing on this matter will be on 16 April.
