ED had filed two complaints
The Enforcement Directorate had recently filed two complaints against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for not complying with the summons issued by the central probe agency in the Delhi Liquor Policy money laundering case. ED had told its court that Arvind Kejriwal was deliberately not complying with the ED summons.
After this, Rouse Avenue Court had directed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to appear in the court on Saturday (March 16), which the CM has challenged in the Sessions Court.
This is why the investigating agency had approached the court
In fact, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, despite 8 summons issued by ED regarding the Delhi Liquor Policy issue, did not implement even a single one. Seeing this attitude of the CM, a complaint was lodged with the ED court. Let us tell you that this controversy started in the headlines after irregularities came to light in Delhi Excise Policy. BJP and Congress have been continuously cornering the Aam Aadmi Party government regarding this.
