Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will not celebrate Holi this year to protest against the arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. It is said that the party will gherao the Prime Minister’s residence on March 26 to register its protest against the arrest of Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi Convenor Gopal Rai announced on Friday.
PM’s effigies will be burnt at various places in Delhi on 24 March
Gopal Rai said that on Saturday, i.e. 23 March, on the occasion of ‘Shaheedi Diwas’, all the MLAs and party leaders will gather at Shaheedi Park near Delhi ITO. Just as our freedom fighters fought against the British and dictatorship, in the same way we will raise our voice against the current dictatorship, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will also be in this, while it is being said that PM’s effigies will be burnt at various places across Delhi on 24 March.
Kejriwal was arrested on the night of 21 March
It is worth noting that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is in ED custody in the Delhi liquor scam. Kejriwal was arrested on the night of 21 March. Since then, Aam Aadmi Party leaders and workers have been protesting on the streets.
He told that on 25th March i.e. on the day of Holi (Holi 2024), no AAP worker will celebrate Holi in protest against the dictatorship of Modi ji (PM Modi), we will hug people and tell them that today it is necessary for us to save the country, while on 26th March, people from all over Delhi will reach PM’s residence and surround it against this dictatorship.
