Delhi High Court can give its verdict on the petition of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today on April 4. CM Kejriwal, who is lodged in Tihar, has challenged the decision of his arrest and remand. Delhi High Court had reserved its decision after hearing the petition on Wednesday. At the same time, the petition to remove Kejriwal from the post of Chief Minister will also be heard in Delhi High Court today.
When the hearing started on Wednesday, Kejriwal’s lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi first presented his side. Then after lunch, Additional Solicitor General SV Raju gave arguments in the court on behalf of ED. Kejriwal’s lawyer Singhvi said in the High Court that the general elections have come, hence Kejriwal has been arrested at such a time, so that he cannot be a part of the election campaign or campaign.

Kejriwal’s lawyer said, “The court will have to see that all parties get equal opportunity in the elections. The first summons were given in November and he was arrested in March. ED has no evidence to warrant an arrest under PMLA.” ” ED objected to this.
Petition was filed in the High Court on March 23
Let us tell you that Arvind Kejriwal had filed a petition in the High Court on March 23 against his arrest. The High Court had issued a notice to ED on March 27 and sought its reply by April 2. The matter will be heard today on April 3. Apart from his arrest, Kejriwal has also challenged the remand decision of the Rouse Avenue Court. Actually, he was arrested on March 21. The next day, Rouse Avenue Court sent him on ED remand till March 28, which was later extended till April 1. On April 1, the court sent him to Tihar in judicial custody till April 15.
