Congress Attack On PM Modi
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday (04 April) launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of ‘sleeping after eating opium’ at a time when China was entering Indian territory. Kharge’s comments come a few days after the names of 30 places along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in India’s northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh were changed.
According to news agency PTI, during an election rally in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, he said, “Modi says ‘I have a 56-inch chest, I will not be afraid. Have you taken sleeping pills? Have you bought opium from the fields of Rajasthan? Have you taken it and fed you?” In his sharp attack, the Congress President called PM Modi the leader of liars and argued that the Prime Minister’s focus was not on the welfare of the nation but on defaming the Gandhi family.
‘It is their job to abuse the Gandhi family’
He said, “He does not think for the country, he only abuses the Gandhi family. He wants to take the people of the country with him by torturing him. He always keeps telling lies. Modi is the leader of liars.” Apart from this, Mallikarjun Kharge highlighted that no one from the Gandhi family has held the post of Prime Minister or Minister since 1989, yet the Prime Minister talks about dynastic politics.
What trick did China do?
In fact, the Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs recently published its so-called fourth list of standardized geographical names for Jangnan, the Chinese name for Arunachal Pradesh. An area which Beijing calls part of Southern Tibet.
