Delhi: ED filed chargesheet in the Jal Board case saying that a bribe of Rs 2 crore was given to Delhi Jal Board officials for funding the elections, ED filed chargesheet against 5 people as part of the investigation.

ED has filed a charge sheet on Thursday in the Delhi Jal Board case. According to the chargesheet, a bribe of Rs 2 crore was given to Aam Aadmi Party from Delhi Jal Board officials for funding the elections. It has been told in the ED charge sheet that investigation is going on against Aam Aadmi Party in this case. ED has filed a charge sheet against 5 people as part of the investigation. According to the charge sheet, the accused include former Chief Engineer of Delhi Jal Board Jagdish Arora, Anil Kumar Aggarwal, Tajendra Singh, NKG Infrastructure Limited and the then General Manager of Faridabad Zone of NBCC.

Apart from this, ED has also attached the total assets of the accused worth Rs 8.80 crore. The agency has also said that in the liquor policy scam, the money went to AAP’s party fund. ED has filed 8 thousand pages of documents in the Delhi Jal Board case. It has 140 pages operative part. ED said that NKG company has been made an accused and its director has died, for this he was not made an accused. NKG company had got the tender on the basis of the certificate issued by NBCC officer Mittal.

ED said in the charge sheet that NKG had not done any work, it got the tender. There was nothing about NKG in the records of NBCC. ED said that Jagdish Arora, Anil Agarwal, Tajendra Singh are chartered accountants. Mittal is an officer of NBCC. Mittal had provided fake documents of NKG Company. Jal Board had given a tender of Rs 38 crore to NKG. Rs 24 crores were released. Out of 24, NKG returned Rs 6 crore 36 lakh. ED said that Rs 6 crore 36 lakh was retained, this is the proceeding of crime. ED said in the charge sheet that the money from NKG and Integral Group had gone to Jagdish Arora because it was he who had issued the tender. It was entered in exchange for the tender.
