MP-MLA Court: Before the Lok Sabha elections, the MP-MLA Court of Gwalior once again created problems by issuing arrest warrant against RJD chief Lalu Prasad.

Gwalior: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad’s troubles have increased. Gwalior’s MP-MLA court has issued an arrest warrant. This warrant has been issued in connection with the Arms Act. This matter is from 1995-97. In this there is an allegation of supply of weapons under Form 16. Lalu Prasad’s name came up in the police investigation. Also it was revealed that Lalu Prasad is someone else but the former Chief Minister of Bihar.

ADPO Abhishek Malhotra said, “Orders for permanent arrest warrant have been issued against Lalu Prasad Yadav by Judicial Magistrate MP-MLA Gwalior. The case pertains to the year 1995-97 in which weapons were purchased from an arms dealer on the basis of fake documents. Letters were produced against a total of 23 accused.Accused Lalu Prasad Yadav was declared absconding.

Chargesheet against total 23 accused
According to the information, police investigation has revealed that in 1995-97, arms and cartridges were purchased from a total of three firms through fake documents. In this case, charge sheet was presented against a total of 23 accused including Lalu Prasad. Of these accused, two have died while 14 are absconding. The police had filed a charge sheet in this case in 1998. Lalu Prasad’s case was transferred to MP-MLA court. When the court became convinced that the person concerned is Lalu Prasad Yadav, the former Chief Minister of Bihar, then his arrest warrant was issued.
