A sensational case of murder has come to light in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. Here in Harsher village of Siwaipatti police station area, even the Shraddha of the mother was not completed when the younger brother Naveen along with another attacked the elder brother Ranveer Kumar with a sharp weapon and killed him. To destroy the evidence, the body was thrown into the Budhi Gandak river from Kodariya bridge. After receiving the information, the police recovered the body with the help of SDRF and divers. Also took possession and sent it to SKMCH hospital for post-mortem. The police also arrested the accused brother Naveen and his associate.
This case of murder is from Harsher village of Siwaipatti police station area. The deceased was identified as Ranveer, 30-year-old son of Umashankar Singh. Ranveer’s father Umashankar Singh is in disarray after the murder of his elder son. He says that he had not yet recovered from the shock of his wife’s death when his younger son killed his elder brother. When the police took the accused younger brother into custody and interrogated him strictly, they informed him about hiding the body.
Dead body thrown in Gandak river after murder
Based on the given location, the body was taken out from the Budhi Gandak river with the help of SDRF and local divers. During police interrogation, the accused younger brother Naveen told that he had murdered the elder brother by slitting his throat. To destroy the evidence, he had thrown the body in the river so that no one would get a clue, but he could not succeed in his plan. The police also arrested his associate who committed this crime.
Murdered elder brother along with cousin
Siwaipatti police station incharge Manmohan Kumar said that younger brother Naveen Kumar and cousin brother Hasla alias Aman are accused in the murder case in Tariyani police station. Once Naveen was handed over to the police by brother Ranveer. Naveen used to threaten his father by taking money and spending it here and there, which the deceased Ranveer used to oppose.
Fed up with the opposition from their elder brother, Naveen and cousin Hasul alias Aman conspired to murder. The police arrested both of them. The deceased has two sons and a daughter. The deceased’s father Umashankar Singh has appealed to the police for protection.
