Delhi: A sensational case of murder of a friend with a knife due to love affair has come to light in Mahindra Park area of North-West Delhi. According to Delhi Police, on Sunday (April 28), a 33-year-old mechanic was stabbed to death at his rented house in Mahindra Park area of northwest Delhi. The accused was also seriously injured in this incident, he has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
He said that the victim Zahid knew his alleged killer, who has been identified as Ravi. Allegedly there was a rift between the two over a woman.

According to Delhi Police, they had received a PCR call about a stabbing incident at Mahindra Park police station at around 4.30 pm. An officer said Zahid and Ravi knew a woman who was present at the house at the time of the stabbing.
Zahid had seen the woman with Ravi at his house. Abuse started happening between them regarding this. A senior police officer said, ‘Ravi stabbed Zahid, resulting in his death. Ravi, who also suffered some injuries in the scuffle, called the police after stabbing his friend.
The accused himself called the police
Based on the information, the police reached the hideout told by Ravi. Ravi himself opened the door. After that both of them were admitted to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital by the police. Where doctors declared Zahid dead. While Ravi is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital.
Police started investigation
Delhi Police has started investigating this matter. The police station has said that the accused is still in the hospital. After being discharged from there, they will interrogate Ravi and the woman present at the spot at the time of the incident. Initial investigation has revealed that the deceased was a mechanic of a paper cutting machine.
