Gorakhpur : French diplomat Laurent Tripone visited and worshiped Shivavtar Mahayogi Guru Gorakshanath in Gorakhnath temple on Sunday. Overwhelmed by the divinity and grandeur of the temple, Tripone visited all the deities located in the premises and bowed his head. He also visited some important places of Gorakhpur including Geeta Press, Ramgarhtal area and described it as a new well developed city under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Laurent Triponne is posted as Principal Political Counselor in the French Embassy in India. He had come to Gorakhpur on a personal visit. During this time he reached Gorakhnath temple on Sunday morning. Here he had darshan and worship at Guru Gorakhnath temple. Along with visiting other Dev temples of the complex, he bowed his head at the Samadhi of former Peethadhishwars of Gorakshpeeth, Mahant Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj, Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj.

Laurent Tripone toured the entire temple complex and obtained detailed information about Gorakshpeeth, Nathpanth, its Guru tradition, educational, health and service projects of the temple. Laurent was surprised with joy to know about the social harmony of Gorakshpeeth and the service projects of this Peeth. He also enjoyed the spiritual pleasure by going to the cow shed of the temple and serving the cow. In Mahant Digvijaynath Memorial Auditorium, he reviewed the books of Mandir Prakashan located here. He was also presented two books focused on Nathpanth from the temple.
Laurent, Principal Political Counselor at the French Embassy, visited many important places in Gorakhpur. He was quite impressed after seeing the development here and knowing about the changes that have taken place here. He visited Geeta Press and also saw the beauty of Ramgarhtal. He said that this is one of the many beautiful lakes he has seen.
