Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s former PS Bibhav Kumar has suffered a major setback. Delhi’s Tis Hazari Court has rejected Bibhav Kumar’s bail plea. Now Bibhav Kumar will appeal in the High Court against the Tis Hazari Court’s decision. Let us tell you that Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal had recently accused CM Arvind Kejriwal’s PA Bibhav Kumar of assault. In this case, Bibhav is currently in police custody. In such a situation, a bail plea was filed in the court on behalf of Bibhav.
In the last hearing, Tis Hazari Court had issued a notice to Delhi Police on Bibhav Kumar’s bail plea. Delhi Police had to file a reply on Bibhav’s bail plea on Monday i.e. today.
Swati Maliwal cried in court
Earlier today, when the hearing was going on in the court, Swati Maliwal was present in the court room. During this time, when the video of Swati Maliwal leaving Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence was being shown to the judge in the court and Vibhav’s lawyer was telling the judge about the FIR, Swati Maliwal’s eyes filled with tears. Swati Maliwal started crying in the court room itself and then silently started listening to the proceedings.
I will not resign from Rajya Sabha post – Swati Maliwal
Let us tell you that after the allegations were made on Vibhav Kumar and his arrest, various allegations were being made on Swati Maliwal by the Aam Aadmi Party. Meanwhile, questions were also being raised whether Swati Maliwal would resign from the post of Rajya Sabha MP. There was also a discussion that if Swati Maliwal resigns from her post, then Aam Aadmi Party can send Abhishek Manu Singhvi to Rajya Sabha in her place. In an interview given to news agency ANI recently, Swati Maliwal said that I have no desire to remain an MP.
She said that if he had spoken to me lovingly, I would have resigned in any case, I have no problem. I do not think that I am bound by any post. I feel that I have done a lot of work and I can do work even without a post. She said that the way they have beaten me up, now no matter what power in the world is used, I am not going to resign under any circumstances.
