Saurabh Bhardwaj Reaction On LG Vinai Saxena: Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has expressed strong objection to the letter issued by Lieutenant Governor Vinay Saxena to the Delhi government on May 29. He has termed LG’s letter as an attempt to defame the Delhi government. Minister Bhardwaj wrote a reply letter to the Lieutenant Governor alleging that he has given misleading information to the people.
He alleged that the purpose of the Lieutenant Governor’s letter is not to give suggestions to deal with the scorching heat but to defame the state government (AAP) and present it in a negative way to the people. Saurabh Bhardwaj said in a press conference, “On May 27, when half of the summer season has passed, a letter was written from the Lieutenant Governor’s office to the Chief Secretary and it was said in a sarcastic manner that the Delhi government did nothing to deal with the situation of severe heat.”
‘LG’s intention is not right’
He said, “If the intention was to give suggestions, we would have welcomed it, but this letter has been written with the malicious intent to insult the state government and show it in a negative way. This does not suit a person of the rank of Lieutenant Governor.”
What is in LG’s letter?
Actually, Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena has written a letter to the Delhi government. In his letter, he has accused the Delhi government of not doing anything to deal with the situation of severe heat. In a letter written to the Chief Secretary of Delhi, VK Saxena has accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his cabinet of ‘insensitivity’ and ‘lack of seriousness’. The LG said that despite the unusually severe heat wave, no instructions were issued by the state government to ensure the safety of workers.
