Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go on a two-day visit to Austria for the first time in 40 years. The PM will visit Austria on 9 and 10 July. Austrian Prime Minister Karl Nehammer posted on social media handle X about PM Modi’s visit and welcomed PM Modi on his visit to Austria.
The Austrian PM posted and wrote, I am looking forward to welcoming PM Modi. The Prime Minister of India, the world’s largest democracy, will visit Vienna next week. This is the first visit of the Indian Prime Minister to Austria in the last 40 years. Also, the Austrian PM said that this visit of PM Modi is an important milestone as we are celebrating 75 years of diplomatic relations with India.
Bilateral relations will be discussed
The Austrian PM said that due to this visit, Austria and India will get a chance to further strengthen their bilateral relations. Responding to this post of the Austrian PM, PM Modi first expressed his gratitude to him. Also, PM Modi said that it is an honor to visit Austria on this historic occasion of celebrating 75 years of bilateral relations.
Will visit Russia first and then Austria
PM Modi expressed hope that during his visit, there will be discussions on strengthening relations between the two countries and finding new ways of cooperation. Prime Minister Modi will go on a two-day visit to Russia on July 8 and 9, where he will attend the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit. After which PM Modi will go to Austria and will stay in Austria on July 9-10. PM Modi will meet Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen and hold talks with the Chancellor of Austria. Modi will also interact with members of the Indian community in Vienna.
