Jammu and Kashmir DGP RR Swain said that 6 terrorists have been killed in the encounter at both the places. This is a big milestone for the security forces.
The four terrorists killed in Chinnigam Frisal have been identified as Yawar Bashir Dar, Zahid Ahmed Dar, Tauheed Ahmed Rather and Shakeel Ahmed Wani. At the same time, the two terrorists killed in Modergam have been identified as Faisal and Adil.
The soldier martyred in Modergam has been identified as Lance Naik Pradeep Nain. He was a resident of Haryana. At the same time, the jawan who was martyred in Chivnigam has been identified as Praveen Janjal. He was a resident of Akola district of Maharashtra.
